Baked cheese roll
600-700 g flour
1/2 fresh yeast or 1 pack. Dried yeast
250 ml warm water
4 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons yogurt
1.5 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 egg (for brushing)
Approx. 200-250 g grated cheese –
Mix the yeast with the sugar in lukewarm water and stand for 5-10 minutes Now add the flour, salt, and oil, yoghurt and knead until the dough is smooth. If the dough is still too sticky, gradually add a little more flour. Then the bowl is covered and let rise for about 50 minutes. Now form 6-8 rolls and place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper with a little space between them, the rolls will still open while baking. Cover and leave the rolls to rise for another 10 minutes. Finally, whisk the egg and brush the rolls with it. Cover with the grated cheese. In a preheated oven at 200 degrees top and bottom heat for approx. 20-25 minutes bake
